"He's A Waste Of Talent We Don't Need Him In The Team," Nigerians Blast Star Player After A 4-4 Draw
The Super Eagles of Nigeria played their third qualifying match with Sierra Leone in Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City. Prior to the match, they had a thorough training session to put final touches to their preparation as they were so confident to emerge victorious. The coach of Sierra Loners initially sent a message to the Super Eagles that they are coming for victory, we saw that came to pass as they came from three goals down to draw the match and secure a point.
Who should really be held responsible for this embarrassing result; the coach or the players? Can we put the blame on the pitch which most players earlier complained about? What actually went wrong defensively and tactically? What do you suggest should be done so as to improve in other matches? Like, share and drop a comment.
Alex Iwobi put the super eagles in front in the 4th minute with a fine strike.
Two minutes later, Samuel Chukwueze rubbished the defense of Sierra Leone to make it 4-0. The visitors were able to pull one back to make it 4-1 before the first half whistle.
